On Sunday, June 10, 2007, just before 1:00 AM, a woman in her mid 20s had parked her car in a subterranean parking lot and was walking toward the elevator leading to her apartment. The suspect grabbed the woman and sexually assaulted her and ran away. There have been two other similar incidents that have occurred in the Van Nuys area.
